Cascades

The Cascades is a set of cylinders systematically placed on an iron structure. These cylinders are made of a carbon fiber wrapped material, lined with iron and aluminum, manufactured according to specific standards and processes. Each cylinder is manufactured and tested in accordance with strict PESO guidelines. The cylinders are properly positioned at a set distance from each other and are fitted with SS-316 / 316L grade stainless steel tubing with proper mounting to confirm ASME A269. The fixed cascade consists of three storage bench systems with check valves. They are low, medium, and high banks. This banking system is used according to the convenience or requirements of CNG distribution. A shut-off valve is provided for each cylinder and a safety/safety valve is provided to ensure safety.

Type 4 Cascade

Type 4 cylinders are HDPE with Carbon fiber composite. Due to this combination, cylinders are ultra-light with the capacity to store a maximum quantity of CNG. Type-4 cascades are capable enough to replace Type 3 and Type-1 use for mobile cascade. This cascade confirms ISO: 11439, ISO 11119-3 & ECE 110 RO2.

Cascades upto 10000 Water litre Capacity

8800 WL cascade is popular as a mobile cascade to carry CNG from Mother station to Daughter Booster stations. Sometimes, it has been used as a stationary cascade also to store more CNG. To fill and carry CNG at 250 Bars with a gas density of 0.7 Kg/lbs, it can store 1600 Kgs. approx CNG. This quantity may vary from place to place. This is reliable due to its robust design, manufacturing and testing. As a mobile cascade, it is the most popular cascade as of now. Other capacities are also available in few nos. These are for some specific requirements.
